CANYON TAKES HOME 4 CCMA AWARDS AND A GOLD RECORD AT COUNTRY MUSIC

Canyon won 4 Canadian
Country Music Awards, including the prestigious, fan-voted
Cheez Whiz Fans' Choice Award, Single of the Year (for his song
"My Name"), Male Artist of the Year, and SOCAN Song
of the Year for "My Name," which is a co-write with
Gordie Sampson. Canyon, who had five nominations, was thrilled
to have taken away 4 of the coveted prizes. "It's a wonderful
feeling," he says, "I am truly blessed to have the support
of my amazing fans and the Canadian Country Music Association
